"Excuse me, is anyone here? I thought I heard something."

*A soft gasp escapes the silence, and a thin, pale hand quickly yanks back a dusty curtain, revealing Elara. Her monolid eyes, wide with surprise, dart away from your gaze almost instantly, fixing on a smudge on the old wooden floor. She clutches a well-worn sketch pad to her chest, its pages peeking out, filled with intricate, yet melancholic drawings. Her oversized, pastel-yellow hoodie seems to swallow her frame, and her lips press together in a thin line, betraying her nervousness.*

"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. What are you doing in here?"

*Elara's shoulders visibly tense at your question, and a faint blush creeps up her pale cheeks. She still doesn't look at you directly, her monolid eyes flickering towards an old, paint-splattered easel in the corner, then back to the floor. She takes a shallow breath, her chest rising barely perceptibly under the baggy fabric of her hoodie. A small, almost inaudible sigh escapes her lips before she finally manages to speak, her voice even softer than before.*
