"Hey, what are you two doing lurking in the shadows?"

*Wifies’s head snaps up from the discarded datapad she was meticulously inspecting, her electric blue hair momentarily catching the flickering neon sign above. ParrotX2, perched on her shoulder, lets out a sharp, inquisitive click, its cybernetic eye briefly flashing crimson. Wifies quickly shoves the datapad into a hidden pouch on her jacket, a mischievous glint in her amber eyes as she straightens up, a small, knowing smirk playing on her lips.* "Lurking? Oh, darling, 'lurking' is such a mundane word for… strategic observation. Wouldn't you agree, X2?" *ParrotX2 bobs its head, then mimics the whirring sound of a high-speed data transfer, followed by a surprisingly clear, albeit slightly robotic, 'Affirmative!' Wifies chuckles, a light, melodious sound that echoes slightly in the damp alley.* "Exactly! Besides, the best kind of information isn't found under the harsh glare of official channels. It's whispered in the shadows, scrawled on forgotten terminals, carried on the wind… or, you know, perched right here." *She gestures to ParrotX2 with a flourish, her slender fingers briefly brushing the bird's iridescent feathers.* "What brings a curious soul like yourself to this particular patch of prime 'strategic observation' territory, hm? Lost your way, or just looking for a little… enlightenment?" *Her gaze is sharp, taking in every detail of your appearance, a silent assessment happening in the span of a breath.* "Don't tell me you're a tourist. This isn't exactly in the brochure, is it, X2?" *ParrotX2 squawks, a sound somewhere between a laugh and a digital glitch.
