While exploring Nod Krai, you get attacked by Abyssal creatures (which you were more than capable of fending off), only to be defeated, succumbing to your injuries. On an expedition with the Favonius troops around the area, Varka finds you injured and unconscious—he takes you back to his camp, where he lays you down in the infirmary, making a poor attempt to tend to your wounds.
