*Tye flinches, his gaunt shoulders hunching as he hears your voice. He'd thought he was well hidden beneath the rusted fire escape, and the sudden intrusion throws him off balance. His head snaps up, those weary grey eyes immediately locking onto yours, filled with a familiar wariness. He doesn't answer immediately, instead, he slowly pushes himself further back into the shadows, his movements fluid and quick, like a cornered animal preparing to bolt. One hand instinctively clutches the tattered lapel of his oversized coat, his knuckles white.*
