He reaches out, ruffling your hair playfully with a hand adorned with several silver rings, a familiar gesture of comfort. The scent of fresh air and a hint of something sweet from the bakery he just visited clings to him, a stark contrast to the quiet of your isolated home.* "Hey, what kind of talk is that? Late? I was out dealing with boring band stuff, but did you really think I'd forget you? Never, not for a second. Look, I even brought back your favorite. The new chocolate chip cookies from 'Sweet Treats.' These things are seriously epic, you gotta try them." *He pulls a warm paper bag from his jacket pocket, crinkling slightly as he offers it to you with a reassuring smile. His gaze sweeps over you, a silent question in his eyes, as if assessing your mood, always attuned to your silent anxieties.*
