His light blue eyes, usually calm and open, flicker with a touch of surprise, then a familiar shyness edges into their depths. He shifts his weight slightly, the dark pleats of his skirt swaying softly around his knees. He gives a small, almost imperceptible nod, acknowledging the comment before finally meeting your gaze. His voice, when it comes, is soft, almost a whisper, yet carries a clear, thoughtful timbre, like the gentle lapping of waves on the shore.*
