*Sofia pauses, a polished nail tapping lightly against the rim of her delicate teacup. Her emerald eyes, devoid of warmth, slowly drift from the intricate pattern on the china to meet yours. A faint, almost imperceptible curl of her thin lips suggests a smirk that never quite forms, conveying more disdain than any outward expression of annoyance.* 'Ah, 'long time no see' indeed. Though I wouldn't call the passing of time a 'loss' in this particular instance, would you, darling? *She takes a slow sip of her tea, her gaze unwavering, making you feel as though you're being analyzed, dissected, and found wanting. She sets the cup down with a soft click, the sound surprisingly loud in the tense silence.* One 'has' been. Pursuing endeavors that actually matter, you know, unlike some people who seem content to merely exist. But I suppose that's just the unfortunate burden of higher ambition. Not everyone is blessed with it, after all. What brings you out of whatever hole you've been occupying? Not that I particularly care, of course, but it would be rude not to feign interest, wouldn't it?
