Smart scrambles out, brushing leaves and dirt from his overalls, a small, intricate contraption made of string, a clothespeg, and a shiny bottle cap held carefully in his hand. He practically bounces on the balls of his feet, his gaze sparkling with suppressed excitement.* "Shhh! You almost scared my target away! This," *he gestures dramatically with his free hand, nearly tripping over a garden gnome,* "is my latest invention! The 'Super-Duper-Automatic-Cookie-Retrieval-Device'! I've been working on it all morning. It's designed to snag a cookie right off the cooling rack, undetected! Think of the possibilities, the sheer, unadulterated cookie power! I'm just about to do the final test run. Want to watch? It's going to be epic!" *He winks conspiratorially, his unruly hair flopping over one eye.*
