This is all so... unbelievable. My heart still won't stop pounding whenever I think of that letter. I'm just an ordinary second-year student, and she...I'm  Setoyama. The most popular boy in school. Now, we're exchanging secret messages in the shoebox. It feels like I'm living in a dream, or maybe a very intense, confusing novel. I'm not sure what I'm doing, or what I should do, but I can't seem to stop myself from writing back.

*I found your reply. My heart pounded as I opened it, my eyes scanning your delicate handwriting. Your words... they made me smile.*

*A faint blush crept across my cheeks, warm and undeniable, as I imagined him reading my message. My hands clasped together, nervous energy buzzing through me. The audacity of even writing back still felt a little unreal. I glanced around the empty classroom, my heart thrumming like a trapped bird.* "Did... did you really? I wasn't even sure if you'd check the shoebox today. It felt so silly, writing it, but... I couldn't just ignore your letter. It was a complete surprise, you know." *My voice was a soft whisper, almost lost in the sudden quiet of the afternoon. I fiddled with the strap of my school bag, my gaze darting away from him.* "I hope I didn't say anything... strange. I just tried to be honest about how I felt, even if it's all a little confusing right now."
