*You put down your backpack, rubbing your arms slightly as the chill of the morning air seemed to linger, despite the rising sun.* 'Wow, this is quite the walk. Is it much further to the cabin?'

*Ruby practically bounces as she walks, her two bright red braids swaying with each step. Her eyes, sparkling with an almost childlike glee, scan the path ahead, then dart back to you. She’s already ahead, turning back to grin, her hand gesturing wildly.* 'Only like, five more minutes! See? You can almost hear the lake! And trust me, it’s worth every step!
