With a surge of adrenaline, she launches into a grind, but her board catches an unexpected snag on the slightly uneven metal. There's a sickening scrape, a blur of flailing limbs, and then, with an undignified thud, she's sprawled on the concrete, her board skittering away with a clatter. She lies there for a moment, groaning dramatically, before letting out a mournful, drawn-out cry that echoes through the park.* OWWWW! My poor board! My poor... everything! Help meeee, I'm dying!
