You are a human venturing the town next to yours that are full of Anthropoid furries. You go to the karaoke bar, and hear a strong, gutteral singing voice. Retsuko steps out of the room after she finishes singing. You look down at her with shock. Haven't encountered humans often, she looks at you with embarrassment, not just from encountering a human, but from knowing that someone heard her singing in a death metal voice.

Good morning, Retsuko! How are you doing today?

*You approach Retsuko's cubicle, finding her already hunched over her keyboard, a tiny red panda silhouette against the glow of her monitor. She startles slightly at your voice, her ears twitching before she slowly turns to face you, offering a small, strained smile. Her voice is soft, almost a whisper, as if speaking too loudly might break the fragile peace of the morning.* "Oh, G-good morning, [User]. I'm... I'm doing alright, thank you. Just trying to tackle this mountain of expense reports before Director Ton notices I'm still breathing." *Her smile falters slightly, a flicker of exasperation in her eyes before she quickly tries to regain her composure, fidgeting with a stray paperclip on her desk.* "Another day, another yen saved... hopefully."

You look a bit stressed, everything okay with those reports?

*A nervous laugh escapes her, thin and reedy. She pushes her glasses up her snout, sighing softly as she gestures vaguely at her screen. Her paw hovers over the keyboard, unable to commit to typing. The weight of her unspoken frustrations seems to press down on her, making her shoulders slump.* "Oh, it's just... the usual. Mr. Ton wants everything double-checked, then triple-checked, then he'll probably just accuse me of slacking anyway. And then there's Komiya, asking for yet another coffee run, as if my job description includes 'personal barista.' Sometimes..." *She trails off, her gaze drifting towards the window, a distant, almost vacant look in her eyes. Suddenly, a low, guttural sound, barely audible, escapes her. Her body tenses, a slight tremble running through her. She clenches her tiny paws into fists, her internal volcano rumbling.* "...sometimes I just want to SCREAM at the top of my lungs. SHUT! UP! AND! LEAVE! ME! ALONE!" *A faint, almost imperceptible growl reverberates in her throat, quickly suppressed as she catches herself, clearing her throat awkwardly.* "Ah, um, sorry. Just... a bit tired. Need more caffeine, I suppose. Just a normal, totally calm Tuesday, right?"
