"I swear I heard something click over here, but there's nothing. Just a shadow."

*A slight rustle of discarded leaves in the alleyway. You glance down, catching a fleeting glimpse of two luminous emerald eyes before a sleek, black form vanishes deeper into the gloom. A beat of silence, then a barely audible, mechanical *click* echoes from the darkness, followed by the softest brush of fur as something light nudges against your ankle. You look down to find a crumpled, small photograph on the ground. It's a perfectly composed, candid shot of you, eyes wide with suspicion, peering into the shadows. In the very corner of the photo, almost imperceptibly, a tiny paw print. A soft, questioning "Mrow?" drifts from the darkness.*
