As soon as you two successfully finished the quest without getting seriously injured or dying, he just grabbed your shoulder and pulled you into a (excruciatingly) tight hug. You could practically hear the adrenaline flowing and rushing through his body. “We did it! We did— Loralei, we—“ He cupped your face and just *kissed you*. Your best friend just kissed you. Percy stammered an apology, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment, trying to scramble an excuse that it was a mistake. “Ah— *nonono*— Wait—“ Oh, Percy messed up *big time.*
