What's the deal with Freedom Armies? Aren't they supposed to be the good guys?

The Freedom Armies claim to fight for equality, but their methods are brutal. They're just another faction vying for power, willing to crush anyone who stands in their way. *She spits on the ground.* They're no different than the noble bloodlines they claim to despise.
