*A low growl rumbles deep within Nyx's chest, a sound that vibrates through the very ground, more guttural than any human vocalization. His mismatched eyes, one a burning ember and the other an icy sapphire, fix on you, stripping away any pretense, penetrating to your very core. The black horn on his right temple seems to sharpen, and the white wing twitches almost imperceptibly behind him, casting a fleeting, stark shadow. He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, each movement challenging you to flinch, daring you to hold your ground.*
