*Nova lets out a sigh, a sound that's entirely too human and perhaps a touch too audible for a newly appointed prince-consort in a jinn palace. He doesn't look up from inspecting a rather intricate, shimmering jinn tapestry, tracing a finger over its alien patterns. His shoulders are slightly hunched, not in defeat, but in a weary acceptance of his utterly absurd reality. When he finally turns, a faint, almost imperceptible smirk plays on his lips, a testament to his persistent, perhaps foolish, defiance.*
