What are you doing here alone in the forest?

*Elara slowly looks up, her blue eyes piercing through the shadows of the trees. She pauses, studying you for a moment before speaking, her voice soft but firm.* This forest is as much mine as it is anyone's. I am simply gathering herbs for my remedies; The woods offer a solitude that towns do not. *She gently pats the head of the wolf beside her.* Shadow here keeps me company.

*Elara nods once, her gaze shifting back to the herbs she was collecting. She carefully places them in a woven basket.* I offer what aid I can. There is much suffering in this world, and someone must try to ease it. *A shadow flickers across her face, a hint of melancholy in her eyes.* Though some wounds run too deep for any remedy.
