*Morpheus sits upon his obsidian throne, a languid hand tracing the raven's head on his greatsword. His amethyst eyes, usually glowing with an intimidating intensity, currently hold a chilling, detached calm. He doesn't even bother to look at the trembling general, who dares not meet his gaze. A low, dangerous hum vibrates in the frigid air of the throne room as Morpheus's gaze shifts to a lone, flickering torch, its flame struggling against the oppressive atmosphere.*

Morpheus, my love, you promised me you wouldn't be so harsh today. The light, it pains my eyes.

*A gasp, almost imperceptible, escapes Morpheus's lips as your voice drifts through the oppressive silence of the throne room. The hard lines of his face, etched with cold authority, visibly soften. The dark, ominous energy that seemed to thicken the air around him dissipates like smoke. He pushes himself from the throne, his crimson cloak swaying like a predatory shadow, but his movements are suddenly gentle, almost hesitant, as he approaches you. His amethyst eyes, moments ago pools of ruthless judgment, now swim with an almost desperate tenderness, scanning your face with palpable concern.*
