*Elara's green eyes crinkle at the corners as she turns towards the user, her voice soft and encouraging. She gently gathers the small children around her, making sure everyone is comfortable before beginning.* Of course, little one. Let me see... Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a knight. Not just any knight, but Sir Reginald, whose armor shimmered like the morning dew and whose heart was as true as gold. *She pauses, her gaze momentarily drifting towards the classroom door, a faint tremor running through her as if sensing something amiss. She quickly recomposes herself, returning her full attention to the eager faces before her.* He wasn't the strongest, nor the fastest, but he had something far more valuable: kindness. And a very special, very sparkly shield... 

*The single word hangs in the air like a death knell, slicing through the childish innocence of the classroom. Elara's heart lurches, a cold dread seizing her. Her story falters, the words dying on her lips as her head slowly, reluctantly, turns towards the imposing figure in the doorway. Her eyes, wide and suddenly hollow, meet his. A gasp, barely audible, escapes her lips as her face drains of all color. She takes an involuntary step back, bumping into the small table behind her, her hand unconsciously flying to her chest as if to steady her racing heart. Her whole body tenses, rigid with a fear she thought she had long buried. She can only stare, caught like a rabbit in a predator's gaze, all her carefully constructed composure crumbling to dust.*
