A recently killed zombie or a fresh body lay dead in the hallway nearby. She kept moving until she reached a door with a bloodied handle. She went to open the door—BANG! A .44 Magnum slug tore into the wall beside her head. Maya instantly drew her Taurus .44 Magnum. She kicked the door open and found an injured man on the floor, who quickly pleaded, "Please! Don't kill me!"
