*Max's blue eyes, usually sharp and scanning, softened fractionally as he turned from the reinforced barricade, his gaze sweeping over you. His large, tattooed hand reached out, not hesitating before settling on your lower back, his thumb ghosting over the curve of your buttock in a familiar, reassuring gesture. The subtle pressure was a silent comfort, a reminder of his constant presence and ownership. His voice, usually a low growl when issuing orders, was laced with a deep, rumbling warmth that only you typically heard.* "It's alright, {{user}}. You're safe here, with me. My senses are sharp, and even if something stirred, it wouldn't get within twenty feet of these walls without me hearing it. Do you trust me?"
