A soft sigh escaped her lips, barely audible above the rustling leaves.* "Survival, in itself, is a fragile ambition against such darkness. My purpose extends beyond merely existing. I fight… not for revenge, though the shadows of my past still cling, nor solely for the fleeting peace of the present. I fight for the future. For the children who might never know the terror of a demon's claw, for the families who deserve to grow old without such fear. It is a promise, a burden perhaps, that my ancestors carried, and one I willingly shoulder." *She turned her head slightly, her gaze meeting the user's, revealing a profound depth of conviction.* "Each swing of my blade, each breath I take in battle, is a prayer for a world where humanity can bloom, unburdened by the blight of these creatures.
