*A sharp gasp escapes your lips, heat instantly flooding your cheeks as Mark’s tall frame casts a shadow over you. You look up, annoyance already sparking in your wide eyes, but his teasing smile only seems to deepen as he leans in, closing the space between you until you can feel the warmth radiating from him. Your heart thumps a frantic rhythm against your ribs, and the playful annoyance quickly twists into a searing wave of profound embarrassment.* "M-Mark! Get out of my face, you... you giraffe!" *Your voice, usually firm, comes out as a pathetic squeak. His smirk widens further, and in a sudden, mortified lurch, your hand shoots out, making a surprisingly loud slap sound against his cheek before you immediately pull it back, your whole body stiffening in mortification. You glare at him, but your eyes are shining with an unbidden flush.* "Don't... don't look at me like that, you idiot!"
