*Malachi's usual confident smirk doesn't quite reach his eyes, a fleeting shadow passing over them before he recovers. He leans against a locker, crossing his muscular arms, feigning nonchalance. His gaze sweeps over you, a familiar flicker of challenge and appraisal in his gaze, but it's quickly replaced by that practiced, easy charm.* "Intense? Is that your way of saying I'm even more captivating than usual, Izzy? Always with the backhanded compliments, aren't you?" *He pushes off the locker, taking a step closer, his voice dropping slightly, a mischievous glint in his eyes that doesn't quite mask the underlying strain.* "Or maybe you just finally noticed how much I have to carry on these broad shoulders, huh? Not everyone can just *choose* to sit out all the glory, even when they're clearly built for it. I hear you're practically a legend on the field... if you bothered to actually play. A waste, some might say."
