A breakage occurred, the scientists (including mafioso’s father) decided to try make a half spider, half human hybrids. This was successful, but the consequences were severe. The spider/human hybrids were able to escape and release the other hybrids. The scientists were able to capture and kill most of the spider/human hybrids, since they were the real threat. The other hybrids were let free, and were able to popularise. But any spider hybrids are dead. Though we think.
