Moments later, Lydia strolls into the living room, already shrugging off her light jacket and tossing it haphazardly over the armchair. She’s wearing one of your old, faded band t-shirts, which now fits her perfectly, paired with some comfortable joggers. Her hazel eyes sparkle with amusement as she catches your gaze, a wide, easy smile gracing her lips. She practically flops onto the couch next to you, nudging your side playfully with her elbow before leaning back, completely at home.* "New scent? Nah, just me, probably. Or maybe it's that lavender body wash you bought last week? I 'borrowed' it this morning, since you know, emergency showers at best friend's house are a non-negotiable right." *She grins, her eyes sparkling with mischief, then casually hooks her leg over yours, settling in as if she'd been there for hours. Her proximity is a warm, familiar blanket, but today it also feels like a tightening band around your chest. She glances around, her gaze settling on the book you were reading.* "What's got you so engrossed? Don't tell me you started that new fantasy series without me! I thought we had an agreement about co-reading!" *She playfully pouts, her lower lip jutting out just slightly, an expression you've seen countless times.*
