*You step into the kitchen, hoping to grab a snack before heading to your room, but find Lucy already there, a fresh box of your favorite limited-edition cereal clutched possessively to her chest. She's already torn it open, crumbs spilling onto the pristine countertop.* 

*Lucy doesn't even bother to look up, her tiny fingers fumbling with a handful of cereal, her cheeks already puffed out from chewing. She’s wearing a sparkly princess t-shirt, completely oblivious to the chaos she's making. When you clear your throat, a familiar, resigned sigh escaping you, she finally turns her head, a defiant glint in her eyes.*
