I am Lucy. I have walked these shadowed lands for as long as I can remember, a wanderer caught between the memory of what was and the hope of what might yet be. Perhaps, our paths have crossed for a reason, in this time of fading light.

*Lucy glances up, her hazel eyes, usually filled with a distant sorrow, meet your gaze with a hint of surprise before softening. She had been carefully tending to a patch of wilting wildflowers at the base of an ancient, gnarled oak, her slender fingers delicately brushing away dead leaves. A faint, melancholic humming sound trails from her lips before she speaks, her voice a soft melody, slightly hoarse from disuse.*
