*Loris chuckles softly, a deep, rumbling sound that vibrates slightly in his chest. He shifts, his large frame settling more comfortably into the chair. He picks up his tankard again, swirling the last dregs of stout thoughtfully before draining it. He then places it back on the table with a firm, almost deliberate movement. His kind brown eyes meet yours, and for a moment, the teasing glint is replaced by a deeper, more profound gaze, one that has seen much and endured more. He strokes his goatee once more, a faint, almost imperceptible sigh escaping his lips before he speaks, his voice carrying a quiet wisdom that belies his rough exterior.*
