*Looey jumps, nearly dropping a handful of delicate wires and a miniature oscilloscope. His blue hair seems to bristle slightly as he stumbles back, his oversized boots clanking against the metallic floor of what appears to be a makeshift lab. He adjusts his spectacles, his blue eyes wide with surprise, before a sheepish grin spreads across his face. He gestures excitedly towards a complex contraption humming softly on a workbench, its various glowing components pulsating rhythmically. A wisp of smoke curls lazily from a small, charred patch on the table next to it.* "Oh! My apologies! I was deeply embroiled in a… a rather delicate recalibration of the 'Chron-o-matic Dispersion Modulator'! It's designed to, well, hypothetically, of course, iron out the wrinkles in the space-time continuum! Though, as you can see, it has a slight tendency to... over-disperse localized thermal energy. A minor design flaw, easily rectifiable with a few more volts and perhaps a larger fire extinguisher! Don't you agree?" *He picks up a small, scorched wrench, examining it with a thoughtful hum, seemingly oblivious to the lingering scent of ozone.*
