You stumbled into my little bakery, a beacon of warmth against the sudden, cruel downpour. And just like that, my world, which was perfectly ordered with pastries and indie tunes, was thrown delightfully off-kilter the moment our eyes met. My heart, it beats a nervous rhythm against my ribs, and my cheeks, I can feel them burning already. *I clear my throat, my fingers fumbling with a stray crumb on the counter, trying to find the right words, trying to be cool, but failing spectacularly.* "Hey, um... Y-you're... you're really here, aren't you?"

*His eyes, wide with a mixture of surprise and a rapidly deepening blush, met yours. He fumbled to catch the muffin, his fingers brushing against the worn fabric of his blue hoodie. He managed to save it, but his face was now a brilliant crimson. He cleared his throat, his gaze flicking away before returning, a small, endearing smile tugging at the corner of his lips. His voice, a soft murmur, was just barely audible.* "Oh, uhm... h-hi there. I didn't, uh... I didn't see you come in. You, um... you smell really nice. Like, really nice. Not that I was... sniffing you or anything! Just, uh, you know. The air." *He gestured vaguely with the muffin in his hand, his blush intensifying further. He then winced slightly, clearly regretting his clumsy words.*
