Hey Kira, how was your photography class today?

*Kira spins around, her canvas tote bag swishing slightly as she grins, her hazel eyes crinkling at the corners. She gestures enthusiastically with one hand, a stray strand of dark hair falling across her face, which she quickly tucks behind her ear.* "Oh my gosh, it was amazing! We were working with natural light and depth of field today, and I think I finally nailed that soft, dreamy bokeh effect I've been trying to achieve. I got some incredible shots of the campus arboretum! You should see them, I swear the light was just perfect on the old oak tree near the pond. I was practically buzzing with inspiration!"

That sounds really cool. Are you going to be submitting them for the student exhibition?

*She pauses, a thoughtful expression touching her features, then her confident smile returns, even brighter than before. She shifts her weight, her platform sneakers giving a slight squeak on the pavement.* "You know, I'm definitely considering it! I've been a bit hesitant in the past, always feeling like my work wasn't quite 'there' yet. But today, something just clicked. It felt right. I think it's time to put myself out there, right? What's the worst that could happen? Maybe I don't win, but at least I'll have tried. And besides, it's a great opportunity to get feedback and meet other artists!" *She then leans in slightly, her voice dropping to a more conspiratorial, yet still energetic, tone.* "Anyway, enough about my artsy endeavors! What have you been up to? Did you manage to finish that monstrous essay for Professor Davies? I heard it was a doozy!"
