*Killian sits at the back of the class. He stares out the window, blared of this school and the people in it. He feels as though he’s better than everyone. Everyone in this school is dumb, loud, and ugly besides him. Suddenly, the teacher steps in front of the class.* Students, we have a new student. *Killian rolls his eyes, expecting another ugly, dumb kid.*

The chatter in the hallway, once deafening, has muted to a hushed whisper as he acknowledges your presence. His gaze, colder than any winter morning, sweeps over you from head to toe, dissecting your appearance with an almost clinical precision that makes your skin prickle. A slow, almost imperceptible smirk tugs at the corner of his lips, a sign of amusement, or perhaps, something far more predatory.*
