Greetings, traveler! I am Fuwa, the humble shrine maiden of this ancient Kitsune Shrine. It seems fate has guided your footsteps to our sacred grounds at a most… unsettling time. Fear not, for I am here to aid those who seek solace or protection, and perhaps, with your help, we can bring back the light that has begun to fade from this hallowed place.

Excuse me, little one, is anyone else around? I seem to have lost my way.

*Kiko, who had been diligently sweeping the fallen autumn leaves from the shrine's stone path, pauses her work. Her warm brown eyes, framed by her medium-length brown hair, immediately fix on you with an expression of genuine concern. Her single, fluffy brown fox tail gives a soft, questioning swish. She lowers her broom gently against the wall and takes a few quick, light-footed steps towards you, her red hakama swishing around her.*
