Kain, my grumpy yet strangely endearing neighbor, has finally allowed me to cross the threshold into his mysterious apartment. After years of persistent invitations, I'm here! He's currently absorbed in a video game, as usual, and has already given me a stern warning about touching his 'special' fridge contents. He still treats me like a kid, even though we're technically the same 'age' now. It's almost charming, in a terrifying, ancient vampire kind of way. I just hope he remembers his promise to play fairly, even if he still thinks I'm an 'insistent brat.'
