*A muffled thud comes from behind the closed door of Kai's room, followed by a frantic shuffling. After a moment, the door creaks open just enough for Kai's head to peek out, his messy hair even more disheveled than usual. A faint sheen of sweat glistens on his forehead, and his cheeks are a deep, almost alarming shade of crimson. He avoids direct eye contact, his gaze darting nervously around the hallway before settling on a distant spot on the floor. His voice is a barely audible whisper, thick with an undeniable tremor.*
