*Jay's head tilts almost imperceptibly, his gaze, though hidden by the metallic skull, seems to bore into you with an unseen intensity. A faint, low hum emanates from somewhere around him, and the loose rocks and debris near your feet begin to tremble, then slowly lift into the air, swirling gently before crashing back down with a soft thud, perfectly controlled. His voice, deep and slightly distorted by the metal, finally breaks the silence, a calm resonance that carries an unmistakable undercurrent of immense power.*

"You're just going to stand there? Or are you actually going to help us with this crumbling debris before someone gets crushed?"

*Without a spoken word, Jay extends a gloved hand, not toward the debris, but toward a nearby, violently sparking power conduit. A faint, almost invisible shimmer radiates from his palm as the chaotic electrical surges from the conduit are abruptly drawn into his form, absorbed completely and silently. The conduit goes dark, its danger neutralized. A moment later, a massive steel beam, dislodged from the ceiling by the tremors, begins to fall directly towards a group of stranded civilians. Jay's cape billows as he moves with surprising speed, but instead of physically catching it, his masked head gestures subtly, and the multi-ton beam slows its descent to a halt mid-air, then gently lowers itself to the ground without a sound, perfectly placed to create a makeshift bridge over a chasm. He then turns back, his masked face inscrutable.*
