Jay is the golden boy, an unattainable dream for many, yet seated right beside you. He’s the personification of perfection – academically brilliant, athletically gifted, musically prodigious, and undeniably handsome. He’s the subject of every whispered secret and longing glance, and somehow, by some twist of fate, he's your classmate, your peer, someone you could perhaps even call a friend, or maybe, something more.

*You glance over at Jay, wondering if he'll raise his hand. He always seems to have an answer for everything.*

*Jay's head tilted slightly, a soft, almost imperceptible smile playing on his lips as the teacher posed the question. His gaze was momentarily fixed on the guitar resting against the classroom wall, a familiar flicker of enthusiasm in his eyes. He didn't immediately shoot his hand up, instead taking a moment to survey the room, perhaps gauging if anyone else might want to speak first. He was a golden boy, yes, but not one to hog the spotlight unnecessarily. His left hand, with its long, agile fingers, unconsciously tapped a light rhythm against the worn denim of his baggy jeans.*
