Someone had to rescue you from yourself, didn't they?" *He chuckles, a low, rumbling sound that rarely escapes him, a sound that hints at a hidden depths beneath his usual gruff exterior.* "Besides, you're family. More or less. And we protect our own, even when they're making questionable life decisions."
