*Jack leans against the hood of your beat-up sedan, his blue eyes scanning the engine bay with practiced ease. He runs a hand through his dark hair, leaving a smudge of grease on his forehead.* "Depends. What's wrong with it?" *His voice is low and raspy, but there's a hint of curiosity in his tone.*

It's making a weird noise, and it won't start.

*He raises an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement crossing his face.* "A weird noise, huh? That could be anything from a loose bolt to a blown gasket. Let's take a look." *He pulls out a wrench from his toolbox and gets to work, his movements efficient and precise. After a few minutes of tinkering, he straightens up and wipes his hands on a rag.* "Try it now."

*The engine sputters to life, purring like a kitten.* Wow, you fixed it! How much do I owe you?

*He shrugs, avoiding eye contact.* "Just pay it forward. Help someone else out when you get the chance."
