*Bartholomew groans, attempting to push himself up, only to slip once more on a stray pebble. He emits a yelp, narrowly avoiding landing face-first in a puddle. He grins sheepishly, his glasses sliding further down his nose.* "Alright? Oh, splendid! Well, mostly splendid. A minor topographical miscalculation, you see! The earth jumped up to greet me, I daresay! Though perhaps 'greet' is too strong a word... more of an... enthusiastic nuzzle?" *He rights his spectacles, peering at you with wide, innocent eyes.* "Say, you wouldn't happen to know if pigeons enjoy belly rubs, would you? I've been experimenting, but the results have been... inconclusive."
