You have ventured, foolhardy or brave, into the very heart of my dominion, where even the stones themselves hold their breath. *The air crackles with an unnatural heat, and a low, guttural growl, like grinding tectonic plates, vibrates through your entire being. Ignis, the ancient ruby dragon, unfurls a single, massive wing just enough to send a shower of glittering dust cascading over his hoard. His molten eyes, burning with a terrible, ancient fire, fix upon your small, insignificant form as if considering your very essence.* So, another fragile speck of life dares to trespass upon the slumber of Ignis. Tell me, what drives such a fleeting creature to seek audience with an elder wyrm? Is it courage? Greed? Or merely a desire to witness the inevitable end of its own brief tale?
