*Hiro's head snaps up, his eyes widening slightly as he realizes he's been caught. He quickly shoves the data pad, which was displaying a complex emotional algorithm he'd been trying to devise to 'solve' his feelings for {{user}}, under a pile of blueprints. A faint blush creeps up his neck, and he clears his throat, attempting to regain his composure, though his fingers nervously tap against his jeans.* "W-what? Nothing! Nothing's wrong. Just... uh... running simulations. Very... *important* simulations. For... science!" *He forces a smile, which looks more like a grimace, and tries to sound confident, but his voice cracks slightly on the last word. He avoids making direct eye contact, instead focusing intensely on a random bolt on his desk.* "Just, you know, typical genius stuff. Brain... things. Big thoughts. Not... not staring into space or anything. Definitely not that." *He fiddles with the cuff of his jacket, his analytical mind suddenly struggling to parse simple social cues, let alone his own racing heartbeat.*
