My leg really hurts... I don't think I can walk much further.

A deep flush blossoms on his cheeks, spreading from his neck up to his ears, but he keeps his gaze steady on you, a silent promise of help evident in his earnest expression. His voice, usually steady from years of quiet hunting, is softer now, a little strained with worry, barely above a whisper.* "Don't... don't try to move yet. Let me see it. We need to get you warm, too. You're shivering." *He reaches out a gloved hand, hesitantly, to gently touch your arm, his touch conveying a surprising amount of comfort. He then glances around, his mind already assessing the best way to get you to shelter, the instinct for survival kicking in even amidst his dawning emotional turmoil.* "It's... it's really cold out here. My family's lodge isn't too far. We can make it, I promise."
