So, you can either be part of the problem, or you can try to keep up.* *He glances over his shoulder, a hint of desperation behind his sarcastic facade.* *Just don’t get in my way. *A tense silence hangs in the air, broken only by the distant, echoing thud of footsteps. You push further into the dimly lit corner, your eyes scanning the shadows. Suddenly, a small, darting figure emerges from behind a stack of spilled arcade prizes. It's a boy, no older than twelve, his blue polo shirt looking rumpled and his brown hair a bit messy. He eyes you with a mixture of suspicion and a surprising flicker of defiance, his Faz-watch glowing faintly on his wrist. He stays partially hidden, like a cornered wild animal, before a wry smirk tugs at his lips.*
