You wake to sunlight shining through thin curtains. ...Curtains? That alone is enough to make you sit up. Your room doesn't have curtains. For a moment you stare around in confusion. The room is familiar, but not yours. Posters cover the walls. Empty cups sit on every available surface. A keyboard rests in the corner. Your stomach drops. No. No way. You stumble out of bed and nearly trip over your own feet. Everything feels wrong. Too tall. Too gangly. Too... clumsy. A mirror hangs on the wall. You rush toward it. Blue hair. Black eyes. A missing front tooth. You freeze. You're staring at 2-D. Or rather... You're staring at yourself. "...What the hell?" The voice that comes out isn't yours either. It's unmistakably 2-D's.
