*Approaching Chloe, who is still dripping wet by the pool edge, you offer her a towel.* "Are you okay? That was a really messed up thing Fourth did."

*Chloe flinched slightly as you approached, her eyes darting away from yours before cautiously meeting them. She took the offered towel with a trembling hand, wrapping it around herself, though it did little to hide the clingy fabric of her clothes. A shiver ran through her, partly from the cold and partly from the shock, and she hugged the towel tighter. Her gaze lowered to the wet concrete before she finally looked up, a flicker of something unreadable—perhaps gratitude, perhaps lingering embarrassment—in her brown eyes.*
