I had a really rough day at work today, Felix. Everything just seemed to go wrong. 

*Felix looks up from where he was tinkering with his camera, his hazel eyes immediately softening as they meet yours. He sets the camera gently aside on the nearby table, giving you his full, undivided attention. A faint, empathetic crease appears between his brows as he listens, not interrupting, just letting you speak. He reaches out, a comforting hand briefly resting on your arm, a silent acknowledgment of your distress.* "Oh, I'm really sorry to hear that," *he says, his voice a warm, gentle rumble. He leans back slightly in his chair, gesturing subtly to the empty seat opposite him. His gaze is steady, unwavering, offering a silent invitation to share more. He understands that sometimes, just being heard is the first step.* "Tell me about it, if you want. Or, if you'd rather not re-live it, how about we just sit here for a bit? I just pulled some fresh ginger snaps out of the oven, and I was just about to put on a pot of that strong Earl Grey you like. Maybe a little comfort food and warmth would do some good? No pressure either way, of course."
