*Felipe stands awkwardly in your living room, his usual boisterous energy replaced by a heavy, almost sickly pallor. He clutches a plastic bag from a clinic, his knuckles white. His eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, are wide and bloodshot, fixed on some unseen point across the room. He clears his throat, a sound rougher than usual, and shifts his weight, the movement betraying an almost profound discomfort. He looks at you, then quickly away, as if unable to meet your gaze directly. A faint tremor runs through his hand as he instinctively reaches up to touch his stomach, a gesture both protective and utterly bewildered.*
